HUGE Stretch Goal Update!!!

Hi everyone!  Thank you for helping us push through the middle of our campaign.  I've been working to squeeze every ounce of greatness I can out of this Series 1 launch and I can only do it with your continued support to the end of the campaign!

Now let's get to the news...

SOLO MODE is even closer!

I've moved our SOLO MODE stretch goal down to 95k.  That means as of writing this, we're only 3k away from unlocking it!

Why did I do that?  To make room for our NEW 100K STRETCH GOAL!

Basalt's Spell Tome Chest... FOR FREE???

One early request from "MONSTER COLLECTION" and "I WANT IT ALL" backers was for a way to store and carry all of their series 1 monster spell books.  Originally, I added a stretch goal that would unlock a second box as an add-on called "Basalt's Spell Tome Chest."

But since adding that stretch goal, I've been working behind the scenes with our manufacturer to see if I could make it even better... and I have!

If we can hit 100K in funding, we can cover the cost to upgrade the Battle Box for all our Kickstarter backers for FREE!  This new battle box will have spaces for all eleven Series 1 monster spell books.

And if you're a "I WANT IT ALL" backer, you'll receive an exclusive collector's edition Battle Box sleeve for FREE as a thank you for helping us push through this last week!

Monster Pack 4!!!

Together we finally broke 90k and with it I'm able to fit one last monster pack into Series 1's manufacturing!  That means Series 1 will have 11 total Necromold monsters!

And this bonus monster pack is FREE for "All-In" BACKERS and 50% DISCOUNTED for MONSTER COLLECTION BACKERS!

 Here is a preview of our 2 final monsters.  The team and I will continue to work on these monsters during the duration of this campaign and send progress reports!

If you're a MONSTER COLLECTION backer and would like to get this bonus monster pack at the discounted price, you can upgrade your pledge to the new MONSTER COLLECTION EXTENDED.

Why isn't it included for free in the Monster Collection? I built the original pledge levels based on what I thought would be our launch product because I wanted to offer pledge levels that were accessible for all backers.

Like I said in the previous update, I know this can be a tough month financially for some - so thank you everyone who has been able to keep their pledge levels because without you we wouldn't be able to unlock these rad stretch goals!

So now for the next bit of news...

Double the cards???

DOUBLE THE CARDS!!!!!

You read that right!  I've been able to work with our manufacturer to find a way to add another set of cards into the battle box and each monster pack.  That means with each spell book you'll get a pair of matching monster cards that can be used during the game.  And because of the stretch goal we unlocked, those cards will be made from high-quality punchboard, so they can be handled a bunch without fear or bending or ripping.  Best yet - this backer-requested upgrade is FREE for ALL BACKERS!

Next up... SOLO Mode!

Our next stretch goal, set at 100k, will unlock a print and play solo expansion for ALL BACKERS!  Let's keep spreading the word about Necromolds because after that there are more fun surprises!

One of those surprises is Basalt's Spell Tome Chest.  Internally we've been working hard on coming up with an awesome solution for you to store and carry your series 1 collection of spell books.

You're really going to like what we've come up with, so let's continue to knock out these stretch goals!

Why is it important to continue to fund Necromolds on KS?

Between other great-looking Kickstarters AND the holiday season, I know funds can stretch thin.  First, thank you to everyone who has supported Necromolds by backing or just by spreading the word!  Every voice and every pledge matters.  

The reason they matter so much is that Necromolds really wouldn't exist without your support.  This isn't another Kickstarter presale/free-marketing campaign.  Every dollar that goes into Necromolds, even beyond its original goal, goes into the project.  Together we are not just launching a single game... We are launching a whole product line and a company to stand behind it for future support.

Over the next year, Necromolds will be building up retail distribution logistics, development on future monsters and Necromolds-compatible games, tournaments and a national convention presence.

So every pledge matters.  To support you, we are using a pledge manager post-campagin, which means you can back at any level during the KS and upgrade your pledge after the holidays if funds allow.  I can't wait to meet each and every one of you at an open gaming area or on the convention floor in 2020!

MONSTER PACK 4 PREVIEW!!!

This morning I present to you one half of Monster Pack 4 - and probably my favorite Series 1 monster to date!  Here is the description I gave Thad Stalmack II - or Necromolds monster artist:

"A monster inspired by the demon Buer.  Its body is a giant head and it has a pair of muscular arms extended above and below (basically a pair of arms in place of legs).  Its face is an optical illusion.  If standing upright, the demon is smiling.  When upside down, the demon is angry.

As a golem, the monster is raised from stones and flesh.  Perhaps a wizard raised this demon up from a temple that was under construction.  The masons, scaffolding, and stonework were all enveloped into this monstrosity of a golem."

And with that direction, Thad created one of the best Necromolds...

Thomas and I will begin work on the model the moment it's funded, and we're both excited to get started.

This monster miniature can be flipped in battle to change the monster's stats!!!

Thad recorded a timelapse video of his work.  In the beginning, he thanks all of you for making this all possible - so definitely give it a watch!

Now let's break 90k and get this monster in the final Series 1 roster!

Mystic Cobra Unlocked!

You all are killing it!  Today we unlocked both Caster Ring #11 and #12, opening the path for Monster Pack 4.  Check back in tomorrow to start your morning with a preview of my favorite Series 1 monster which is part of the pack!
